# Group Text | Mass Message vs VXT

The clearest difference is rating: Group Text | Mass Message at 4.3 against VXT's 3.2. Group Text | Mass Message also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 14) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). VXT's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 43%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Group Text | Mass Message sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and VXT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Group Text | Mass Message holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Group Text | Mass Message has 5.8K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Group Text | Mass Message's written reviews are positive against 59% of VXT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Group Text | Mass Message ships an update every 3 weeks, VXT every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
