# LadderVPN vs Nthbe

The clearest difference is rating: Nthbe at 4.5 against LadderVPN's 2.7. Nthbe also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 28%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). LadderVPN's advantage is ratings volume (215 vs 6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LadderVPN sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Nthbe sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
