# Make a List! vs Checklist

The clearest difference is rating: Make a List! at 4.6 against Checklist's 2.4. Make a List! also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 25%) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 9). Checklist's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make a List! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Make a List! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Make a List! has 1.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Make a List!'s written reviews are positive against 25% of Checklist's.

Make a List! ships an update every 4 weeks, Checklist every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
