# Make a List! vs Flow

The clearest difference is ads: Flow at none against Make a List!'s shown. Flow also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.6). Make a List!'s advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 59). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make a List! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Make a List! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Make a List! has 1.7K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two.
