# TopDecked MTG vs Scry One

The clearest difference is ads: Scry One at none against TopDecked MTG's shown. Scry One also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%). TopDecked MTG's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopDecked MTG sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scry One sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for TopDecked MTG against 4.6 for Scry One. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopDecked MTG has 2.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of TopDecked MTG's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scry One's.

TopDecked MTG ships an update fortnightly, Scry One every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
