# TopDecked MTG vs Record Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Record Tracker at none against TopDecked MTG's shown. Record Tracker also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%). TopDecked MTG's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 13). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopDecked MTG sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Record Tracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for TopDecked MTG against 4.8 for Record Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopDecked MTG has 2.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of TopDecked MTG's written reviews are positive against 100% of Record Tracker's.
