# Percent % vs FlexCalc

The clearest difference is rating: FlexCalc at 5.0 against Percent %'s 3.8. Percent %'s advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Percent % sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and FlexCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlexCalc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Percent % has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Percent % ships an update monthly, FlexCalc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
