# Planningify vs WillRemind

The clearest difference is price: Planningify at Free against WillRemind's $0.99. Planningify also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). WillRemind's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On device support there is nothing between them.

Planningify is free to download; WillRemind costs $0.99 up front. Planningify sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. WillRemind asks for nothing beyond the download.

Planningify holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planningify has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Planningify's written reviews are positive against 100% of WillRemind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Planningify ships an update monthly, WillRemind every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
