# Syncta vs Backflow Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Backflow Pro at 5.0 against Syncta's 2.4. Syncta's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backflow Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Syncta asks for nothing beyond the download.

Backflow Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Syncta has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Syncta ships an update monthly, Backflow Pro every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
