# Meta Meme vs Splicer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Meta Meme at 60% against Splicer's 30%. Splicer's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meta Meme sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Splicer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splicer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.4K and 2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Meta Meme's written reviews are positive against 30% of Splicer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meta Meme ships an update every 5 weeks, Splicer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
