# RouteThis Helps vs EcoNet

The clearest difference is rating: EcoNet at 4.4 against RouteThis Helps's 2.0. EcoNet also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 200). RouteThis Helps's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EcoNet holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EcoNet has 14K ratings behind it against 200, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RouteThis Helps's written reviews are positive against 15% of EcoNet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RouteThis Helps ships an update fortnightly, EcoNet every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
