# beIN vs ETV Play

The clearest difference is rating: ETV Play at 3.6 against beIN's 3.0. ETV Play also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). beIN's advantage is review sentiment (10% vs 0%) and ratings volume (100 vs 32). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ETV Play holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 100 and 32 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of beIN's written reviews are positive against 0% of ETV Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
