# DUR vs SatChannels

The clearest difference is rating: DUR at 5.0 against SatChannels's 3.8. DUR also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SatChannels's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DUR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SatChannels has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DUR ships an update every 5 months, SatChannels every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
