# Camping Key vs Eremit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Eremit at free against Camping Key's freemium. Eremit also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Camping Key ships an update every 3 months, Eremit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
