# PetSmart vs Pet Express

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pet Express at 100% against PetSmart's 10%. Pet Express also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). PetSmart's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 4) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pet Express holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PetSmart has 31K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
