# REC vs COMITOK

The clearest difference is review sentiment: COMITOK at 100% against REC's 55%. COMITOK also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). REC's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. REC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. COMITOK asks for nothing beyond the download.

COMITOK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REC has 70 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of REC's written reviews are positive against 100% of COMITOK's.

REC ships an update monthly, COMITOK every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
