# Librista vs My Bible Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Bible Tracker at 87% against Librista's 46%. Librista's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 128). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Librista holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Librista has 2.9K ratings behind it against 128, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Librista's written reviews are positive against 87% of My Bible Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Librista ships an update every 2 months, My Bible Tracker every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
