# Numboard vs Math Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: Math Keyboard at 3.3 against Numboard's 2.1. Numboard's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Numboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Math Keyboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Numboard's written reviews are positive against 0% of Math Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Numboard ships an update every 3 weeks, Math Keyboard every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
