# Day vs School Timetable

The clearest difference is update cadence: School Timetable at weekly against Day's monthly. School Timetable also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (438 vs 61). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and School Timetable sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

School Timetable holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: School Timetable has 438 ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Day's written reviews are positive against 68% of School Timetable's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Day ships an update monthly, School Timetable weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
