# Day vs Timetable & Homework Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Timetable & Homework Planner at none against Day's 1. Timetable & Homework Planner also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Day's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Timetable & Homework Planner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timetable & Homework Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 61 and 139 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Day's written reviews are positive against 58% of Timetable & Homework Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Day ships an update monthly, Timetable & Homework Planner every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
