# Hidden msg vs HiSee

The clearest difference is rating: Hidden msg at 2.7 against HiSee's 2.3. HiSee's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 14%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hidden msg holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Hidden msg's written reviews are positive against 30% of HiSee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hidden msg ships an update every 3 months, HiSee every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
