# Piggy Plane vs FirstWait

The clearest difference is ads: Piggy Plane at none against FirstWait's shown. Piggy Plane also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). FirstWait's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Piggy Plane against 5.0 for FirstWait. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piggy Plane has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Piggy Plane ships an update every 3 months, FirstWait every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
