# DoodleConnect vs 粤语翻译

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 粤语翻译 at 100% against DoodleConnect's 56%. DoodleConnect's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 粤语翻译 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. DoodleConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

DoodleConnect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DoodleConnect has 56 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of DoodleConnect's written reviews are positive against 100% of 粤语翻译's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
