# Touch Tonnetz vs Melodician

The clearest difference is ads: Touch Tonnetz at none against Melodician's shown. Touch Tonnetz also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touch Tonnetz sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Melodician sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
