# Touch Tonnetz vs ChronoChord

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChronoChord at every 5 days against Touch Tonnetz's every 2 weeks. Touch Tonnetz's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touch Tonnetz sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ChronoChord sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Touch Tonnetz ships an update every 2 weeks, ChronoChord every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
