# KIKY vs StarScript

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KIKY at none against StarScript's 2. KIKY also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). StarScript's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarScript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. KIKY asks for nothing beyond the download.

KIKY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarScript has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of KIKY's written reviews are positive against 78% of StarScript's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KIKY ships an update every 8 months, StarScript fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
