# e vs WelcomeBob

The clearest difference is rating: e at 3.9 against WelcomeBob's 3.0. e also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.0). WelcomeBob's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 17%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

e holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of e's written reviews are positive against 50% of WelcomeBob's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 3 months, WelcomeBob every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
