# Solar Walk Lite vs ScrollPlanets

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Solar Walk Lite at none against ScrollPlanets's 3. Solar Walk Lite also leads on ratings volume (33K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). ScrollPlanets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollPlanets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Solar Walk Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScrollPlanets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solar Walk Lite has 33K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 84% and 83% positive.
