# VPeeps vs Journalshow

The clearest difference is update cadence: Journalshow at every 4 months against VPeeps's every 12 months. VPeeps's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VPeeps ships an update every 12 months, Journalshow every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
