# Beat Light vs Parallel Live

Beat Light and Parallel Live both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Beat Light's written reviews are positive against 43% of Parallel Live's. Beat Light also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 28). Parallel Live's advantage is ratings volume (38K vs 116) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parallel Live sells 26 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Beat Light asks for nothing beyond the download.

Parallel Live holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parallel Live has 38K ratings behind it against 116, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Beat Light's written reviews are positive against 43% of Parallel Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beat Light ships an update fortnightly, Parallel Live every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
