# DAILY NOTE vs Typing

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Typing at none against DAILY NOTE's 1. Typing also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). DAILY NOTE's advantage is ratings volume (310 vs 7). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DAILY NOTE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Typing asks for nothing beyond the download.

Typing holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAILY NOTE has 310 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of DAILY NOTE's written reviews are positive against 94% of Typing's.

DAILY NOTE ships an update every 3 weeks, Typing every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
