# DAILY NOTE vs Tangent

The clearest difference is ads: Tangent at none against DAILY NOTE's shown. Tangent also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DAILY NOTE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tangent sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DAILY NOTE ships an update every 3 weeks, Tangent every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
