# Cleanpath vs AppCrypt

The clearest difference is rating: Cleanpath at 4.5 against AppCrypt's 3.7. Cleanpath also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 7). AppCrypt's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cleanpath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and AppCrypt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cleanpath holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cleanpath has 2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 88% and 88% positive.

Cleanpath ships an update every 3 months, AppCrypt every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
