# geeni vs MOBI Smart

The clearest difference is ratings volume: geeni at 437K against MOBI Smart's 3.4K. geeni also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). MOBI Smart's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 25%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

geeni holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: geeni has 437K ratings behind it against 3.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of geeni's written reviews are positive against 39% of MOBI Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

geeni ships an update monthly, MOBI Smart every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
