# geeni vs Instachew Infinity

The clearest difference is rating: geeni at 4.8 against Instachew Infinity's 2.6. geeni also leads on ratings volume (437K vs 290). Instachew Infinity's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 26%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

geeni holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: geeni has 437K ratings behind it against 290, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of geeni's written reviews are positive against 45% of Instachew Infinity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

geeni ships an update monthly, Instachew Infinity every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
