# Flat vs Practice Wheel

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Practice Wheel at none against Flat's 11. Practice Wheel also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Flat's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 4) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flat sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Practice Wheel asks for nothing beyond the download.

Practice Wheel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flat has 7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Flat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Practice Wheel's.

Flat ships an update fortnightly, Practice Wheel every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
