# Rainforest Connection vs AR

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rainforest Connection at fortnightly against AR's every 4 months. AR's advantage is iOS requirement (11.3 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rainforest Connection ships an update fortnightly, AR every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
