# Tripmasters vs Crown Tours

The clearest difference is update cadence: Crown Tours at fortnightly against Tripmasters's every 2 months. Tripmasters's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 404) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Tripmasters against 4.9 for Crown Tours. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tripmasters has 3.2K ratings behind it against 404, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Tripmasters's written reviews are positive against 95% of Crown Tours's.

Tripmasters ships an update every 2 months, Crown Tours fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
