# zWrite vs UPAD V

The clearest difference is price: zWrite at Free against UPAD V's $9.99. UPAD V's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (24 vs 4). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

zWrite is free to download; UPAD V costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UPAD V holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UPAD V has 24 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of zWrite's written reviews are positive against 43% of UPAD V's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
