# Solid Metal Gear vs Guns Arena

The clearest difference is ads: Solid Metal Gear at none against Guns Arena's shown. Solid Metal Gear also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). Guns Arena's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (5.2K vs 19). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solid Metal Gear sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Guns Arena sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guns Arena holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guns Arena has 5.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Solid Metal Gear's written reviews are positive against 67% of Guns Arena's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
