# Solid Metal Gear vs VRChat

Solid Metal Gear and VRChat both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Solid Metal Gear's written reviews are positive against 46% of VRChat's. Solid Metal Gear also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.0). VRChat's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 17) and chart position (#91 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solid Metal Gear sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VRChat sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Solid Metal Gear against 4.4 for VRChat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VRChat has 3.3K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Solid Metal Gear's written reviews are positive against 46% of VRChat's.
