# Le Monde vs Write Better

The clearest difference is update cadence: Write Better at every 9 days against Le Monde's every 2 months. Write Better also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Le Monde's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Le Monde sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $8.90 per month and Write Better sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Le Monde against 4.7 for Write Better. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Le Monde has 30 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Le Monde's written reviews are positive against 83% of Write Better's.

Le Monde ships an update every 2 months, Write Better every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
