# Mangacollec vs BDGest Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: BDGest Mobile at 5.0 against Mangacollec's 3.6. BDGest Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Mangacollec's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 58%) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mangacollec sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. BDGest Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

BDGest Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mangacollec has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Mangacollec's written reviews are positive against 58% of BDGest Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mangacollec ships an update every 5 weeks, BDGest Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
