# Kangaride vs RTL à la demande

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kangaride at 49% against RTL à la demande's 25%. Kangaride also leads on ratings volume (112 vs 2). RTL à la demande's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RTL à la demande holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kangaride has 112 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Kangaride's written reviews are positive against 25% of RTL à la demande's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kangaride ships an update every 5 weeks, RTL à la demande every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
