# Kangaride vs SaluTaxi

The clearest difference is monetization model: SaluTaxi at free against Kangaride's free with in-app purchases. SaluTaxi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). Kangaride's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SaluTaxi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kangaride has 113 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kangaride ships an update every 5 weeks, SaluTaxi every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
