# Focus Dog vs Enough Dad

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Focus Dog at 917 against Enough Dad's 2. Enough Dad's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Dog sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Enough Dad sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Enough Dad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Dog has 917 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus Dog ships an update fortnightly, Enough Dad weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
