# Smarty.Sale vs ProstoPay

The clearest difference is rating: Smarty.Sale at 4.7 against ProstoPay's 3.7. Smarty.Sale also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (87 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smarty.Sale holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smarty.Sale has 87 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Smarty.Sale's written reviews are positive against 20% of ProstoPay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smarty.Sale ships an update fortnightly, ProstoPay every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
