# Snower vs Just Snow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Snower at none against Just Snow's 5. Snower also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Just Snow's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (347 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Just Snow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Snower asks for nothing beyond the download.

Just Snow holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Just Snow has 347 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Snower's written reviews are positive against 70% of Just Snow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
