# Tigrigna vs Eritrean AI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tigrigna at none against Eritrean AI's 4. Tigrigna also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Eritrean AI's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eritrean AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Tigrigna asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tigrigna against 5.0 for Eritrean AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eritrean AI has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tigrigna ships an update every 17 months, Eritrean AI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
