# FixIT vs PDF Translator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FixIT at 53% against PDF Translator's 17%. FixIT also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). PDF Translator's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (477 vs 10). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Translator sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. FixIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

PDF Translator holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Translator has 477 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of FixIT's written reviews are positive against 17% of PDF Translator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FixIT ships an update every 3 weeks, PDF Translator monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
